Changing Colors: Insert hook into the next stitch, yarn over and draw a loop through, then change color. Yarn over and draw through two loops on hook. Keep all loose strands on the wrong side of your work.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Foundation and Main Body
Foundation: Using color A, chain 24.
Row 1: Single crochet in the 4th chain from hook (the turning chain counts as a single crochet stitch throughout). Single crochet in the next 20 stitches. You now have 22 single crochet stitches total.
Row 2: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 20 stitches, then single crochet in the last turning chain. 22 single crochet stitches total.
Rows 3–4: Repeat Row 2.
Row 5: Chain 2, single crochet in the next 8 stitches. Insert hook into the next stitch, yarn over and draw a loop through, then change to color B and yarn over and draw through 2 loops of white on hook. (Keep color-changing strands behind stitches and always on the wrong side of the bib.) Using color B, single crochet in the next 2 stitches. Change back to color A and single crochet in the next 10 stitches.
Row 6: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 8 stitches. Change to color B and single crochet in the next 4 stitches. Change to color A and single crochet in the next 9 stitches.
Row 7: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 7 stitches. Change to color B and single crochet in 6 stitches. Change to color A and single crochet in 8 stitches.
Rows 8–9: Repeat Row 7.
Row 10: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 6 stitches. Change to color B and single crochet in 8 stitches. Change to color A and single crochet in 7 stitches.
Row 11: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 5 stitches. Change to color B and single crochet in 10 stitches. Change to color A and single crochet in the next 6 stitches.
Row 12: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 4 stitches. Change to color B and single crochet in 12 stitches. Change to color A and single crochet in the next 5 stitches.
Row 13: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 3 stitches. Change to color B and single crochet in 14 stitches. Change to color A and single crochet in the next 4 stitches.
Row 14: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 2 stitches. Change to color B and single crochet in 16 stitches. Change to color A and single crochet in the next 3 stitches.
Row 15: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 1 stitch. Change to color B and single crochet in 18 stitches. Change to color A and single crochet in the next 2 stitches.
Row 16: Chain 2, turn. Change to color B and single crochet in the next 20 stitches. Change to color A and single crochet in the last turning chain. Change to color B.
Row 17: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 21 stitches.
Rows 18–19: Repeat Row 17.
Right Shoulder Strap
Row 20 (Right Shoulder): Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 5 stitches.
Rows 21–35: Repeat Row 20. Fasten off.
Left Shoulder Strap with Button Holes
Row 1 (Left Shoulder): Join color B to the top of the first chain 2 turning chain made in Row 19. Chain 2 and single crochet in the next 5 stitches.
Rows 2–11: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next 5 stitches. Fasten off.
Row 12: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next stitch. Chain 2 and skip 2 stitches, then single crochet in the next stitch and single crochet in the last turning chain. This creates your first button hole.
Row 13: Chain 2, turn. Single crochet in the next stitch. Work 2 single crochets in the chain 2 space, then single crochet in the next 2 stitches.
Row 14: Repeat Row 2.
Row 15: Repeat Row 12 to create your second button hole.
Row 16: Repeat Row 2.
Edging
Chain 1 and single crochet in the same space as the last turning chain. Single crochet along the edge of the entire bib. At the outside corners of the bib, work a single crochet, chain 1, and another single crochet in the same space.

Ears (Make 2)
Using color A, chain 9. Single crochet in the 3rd chain from hook, half double crochet in the next stitch, double crochet, half treble, half treble, half treble, and treble. Change to color B, chain 2, and work 4 single crochets in the side post of the last treble made. Single crochet around the foundation chain and around the rest of the triangle. Fasten off. Sew the ears at the base of the straps.
Nose
Using color C, make a magic circle or slip knot circle. Chain 3, half treble, double crochet, half double crochet, 3 single crochets, half double crochet, double crochet, half treble, chain 3, and slip stitch into the circle. Fasten off. Your nose should look a little heart-shaped. Sew the nose onto the bib as shown in your pattern photo.
Eyes
Using color C and a yarn needle, stitch small lines for eyes like this: \ _ _ / Fasten off all loose ends.
Finishing
Sew a button to the right shoulder strap. Take a picture of your finished bib!
