Seams and Edging

Step 1: Find any ch-2 corner sp and count 9 dc sts to the right of it. Insert your hook through the 9th dc st in both panels and make a dc + ch-3 picot in the same st. *Dc in the next 2 sts, dc + ch-3 picot in next; repeat from * twice.

Step 2: Work (3 dc + picot + 2 dc) all in the next ch-2 corner sp.

Step 3: **Dc + picot in next, dc, dc; repeat from ** 13 times, dc + picot in last dc. Work (3 dc + picot + 2 dc) in next corner sp. Repeat Steps 2–3 twice more.

Step 4: [Dc + picot in next, dc, dc] × 3.

Now working in the front panel only, continue the picot edging to leave an opening at the bottom of the pillow.

Repeat [ ] 8 more times. Slst to first dc to join. Fasten off.

Step 5: Sew two 1" wooden buttons to the back bottom edge of the pillow. Make 2 button loops by chaining 12 + slst to first ch to form a loop. Sew the loops on the front panel, aligned opposite the buttons.
