- Color B: Turqua
- Color C: White
- Hook: Size G / 4.25mm

Completed square measures approximately 5 inches × 5 inches.
Abbreviations
- Slst = slip stitch
- Ch = chain
- Dc = double crochet
- Tr = treble crochet
- Sp = space
- St = stitch
This granny square is worked in the round. Continue working in the same direction throughout — do not turn your work.
Pattern Instructions
Round 1 — Center (Color A)
- Using Color A, make a magic circle (or slip knot circle).
- Ch 3 (counts as first dc).
- Work 11 dc into the circle.
- Slst to the top of the beginning ch-3 to join.
Total: 12 dc
Round 2 — Increase (Color A)
- Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in the same st — 2 dc made.
- Work 2 dc in each of the next 11 sts around.
- Slst to the top of the beginning ch-3 to join.
Total: 24 dc
Round 3 — Square Shape (Color B)
- Change to Color B.
- Ch 3 + dc in the same st, skip next dc, 2 dc in next dc.
- *(2dc + ch3 + 2dc) all in the next dc (corner made), skip 1 dc, 2 dc in next, skip 1, 2 dc, skip 1.*
- Repeat from * twice more.
- Work (2dc + ch3 + 2dc) in the next dc for the final corner.
- Slst to the top of the beginning ch-3 to join.
Total: 32 dc
Round 4 — Border (Color B)
- Slst into the next dc, then slst into the next sp.
- Ch 3 + 2 dc in the same sp.
- [Skip next 2 dc, 3 dc in next sp] — repeat brackets as needed along the side.
- *Skip next 2 dc, (3dc + ch2 + 3dc) all in the next ch-3 corner sp.*
- Repeat [ ] three times along the next side.
- Repeat from * twice more for the remaining corners and sides.
- Work (3dc + ch2 + 3dc) in the last ch-3 corner sp.
- Skip 2, 3 dc in next sp.
- Slst to the top of the beginning ch-3. Fasten off.
Total: 60 dc
Petals — Daisy Flower (Color C)
- Join Color C in any skipped dc st from Round 2.
- *(Ch 3 + 2 tr + ch 3 + slst) all in the same dc — one petal made.*
- Slst into the next skipped dc from Round 2.
- Repeat from * 11 more times to complete all 12 petals.
- Slst into the first dc. Fasten off.
Total: 12 petals
